Mentoring & Early Career Development Committee Launches Mentorship Program
This June, NANETS' Mentoring & Early Career Development Committee implemented a comprehensive mentoring program to match early career NANETS members with professionals in their respective fields. Committee Co-Chairs M. Sue O'Dorisio, MD, PhD and Callisia Clarke, MD, MS developed this program to advise mentees on best practices for navigating a career in the NET medical field.
All mentor and mentee matches are provided a comprehensive mentoring checklist developed by the Committee to help facilitate the mentorship relationship. Matches are also issued an Individual Mentoring Development Plan (IMDP) to advance the mentoring journey.
